Version and effective date: October 30, 2026. This policy governs personal data processing on the site under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Chapter 25 of Decree 1074 of 2015.

Available channel: contact form. To exercise your rights, select “Personal data protection”. You can submit an inquiry or complaint without requesting a financial service.
What information we receive and why
When you request support, we receive your name, email, service of interest and message. Phone and company are optional. We use this information to review and respond to your request, contact you about that need and manage the support you request.
With your authorization, we collect, store, access, use and update this data. If you share a financial assessment with your request, its result is also stored to analyze your needs. Submitting this information does not subscribe you to advertising or marketing campaigns.
The form does not request sensitive data or children's data. You are not required to provide sensitive information. Do not include passwords, full account numbers or personal information about customers or employees in your message.
Your authorization
Authorization is requested before submission through a checkbox that is unchecked by default. The record keeps the date, authorization version and request details for future reference. You may request proof of authorization.
Without authorization for the processing needed to respond to an advisory request, that request is not recorded. Exercising personal data rights does not require marketing consent or renewed authorization for advisory services. A change of purpose requiring new authorization will be subject to that authorization.
Your rights as a data subject
- Access, update and correct your data.
- Request proof of authorization and information about its use.
- Access your data free of charge as provided by law.
- Request withdrawal of consent or deletion where applicable, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
- Contact Colombia's Superintendency of Industry and Commerce after first exhausting the inquiry or complaint process with the controller or processor, as applicable.
How to exercise your rights
In the contact form, select “Personal data protection”. Provide your name, reply email, request and facts needed to locate the record. State if you represent someone else. FINDEX will verify identity or representation and arrange how to receive supporting documents. The system provides a reference number. This information is used only to manage and document the process.
Inquiries: up to 10 business days from receipt, with an explained and justified extension of up to 5 business days.
Complaints: up to 15 business days from the day after receipt, with an explained and justified extension of up to 8 business days. Missing information will be requested within 5 days. After 2 months without a response to that request, the complaint will be deemed withdrawn.
A complete complaint is marked as pending within 2 business days until resolved. If the recipient lacks authority, it will forward the complaint within 2 business days and inform the requester.
Retention and access
Requests are retained as long as needed for the stated purposes and applicable legal or contractual obligations. Once that need ends, information must be deleted or anonymized. Withdrawal or deletion requests are assessed against those obligations.
Access to requests is limited to authorized personnel. Infrastructure providers may process information on behalf of FINDEX to operate the site. Access must be limited to that function and comply with applicable security, confidentiality and data protection duties, including international data transfer requirements where applicable.
Registration and free assessment
Before the assessment we request your name, email and company; phone is optional. With your express authorization, we store those details, the date and proof of authorization, and your assessment result. They are used to generate your snapshot, answer inquiries and contact you about the assessment. Entered figures are processed to calculate indicators but are not stored separately. The result contains indicators derived from those figures. The initial assessment uses defined rules and calculations without sending your information to an artificial intelligence provider.
A necessary, protected cookie lasting 24 hours lets you continue the assessment in the same browser. Its identifier contains no contact details. You may download or print your infographic. FINDEX retains the result in the restricted administrator area.
Receiving news, resources and offers by email requires a separate, optional, unchecked checkbox. You can obtain your assessment without marketing consent and withdraw that consent through the data protection channel. Previous authorization from other forms is not extended to this purpose.
Website usage statistics
We record visits, page views and clicks toward the advanced assessment to understand website usage. A random identifier is stored in the browser tab's session storage and renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity between events. We do not use advertising cookies, retain IP addresses in statistics or link this identifier to registration details. We do not store URL parameters or form contents in statistics.
Visits are browsing sessions, not an exact count of people. Reports cover up to 90 days of events; older events are progressively removed. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Assessment records are retained for the purposes stated here. Abuse controls use temporary identifiers to limit requests without storing the original IP address.
Policy updates
The current version is available on this page. Material changes will be communicated before implementation. Previous authorization does not automatically extend to new purposes.
Reference legislation
Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 · Decree 1074 of 2015, Chapter 25.
Scope of the analysis
The assessment is a preliminary reading of self-reported data. It does not verify financial statements or certify solvency or creditworthiness. The sector informs the focus and questions; no sector comparisons are made without equivalent supporting data. Validate figures, period and context with professional support before deciding.
Resources, courses and purchases
Available free materials can be downloaded or viewed. Each paid item must state its price in Colombian pesos and access terms before purchase. Items marked Coming soon are not for sale. FINDEX does not process card details; enabled purchases take place with the stated payment provider.
Paid content access is granted after payment verification. A receipt or return from a payment page does not automatically grant access. Check the scope, availability and terms of the course or resource before paying.
Use of materials
Materials are for the recipient's personal or business use and retain their authorship credits. Downloading does not authorize resale, alteration of credits or commercial distribution. Educational content does not replace analysis specific to your organization.
